Who provides the know-how to protect Dell’s data, tools and information systems? It’s our Database Admin team within Information Technology. We develop, design and optimize our information technology and systems functions that support our business processes and technical information systems platforms. Focused on efficiency, performance, availability and platform compatibility, we analyze, select and modify enterprise systems and application software, install network hardware and software and manage our databases – setting system and programming standards along the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to work on day to day Database Administration tasks on Oracle databases

  • Ability to adapt and learn new DB technologies like Mongo DB, Elastic Search, Cassandra etc

Essential Requirements

  • Experience managing Oracle databases

Desirable Requirements

  • Additional DB technologies - NoSQL Databases
