Software Engineer Senior Manager (IT)

The ConfigureToSolutions group builds and operates a global commerce seller platform that powers all sales experiences world-wide. It provides its customers a cohesive branded sales experience across Dell Sales globally. Our team is extending the reach of its sales platform to command an extensive variety of applications and solutions that are central to the growth of Dell as a technology and solutions company.

We are looking for Senior Manager who has a strong background in UX and services/API development for online commerce, with proven abilities to innovate and be creative. Highly motivated, goal-oriented individuals who will be responsible for building software solutions to meet our business needs.

What you’ll achieve

As a Software Engineer Senior Manager, you will understand the technology environment and business functions and apply your knowledge of programming, technologies and processes to develop and maintain business applications.

You will:

• Direct the efforts of the team towards achievement of strategic and operational objectives

• Act as a subject matter expert and advisor for specialized programs, systems and critical technologies

• Assume a lead role within a major project and determine project approach, system scope, resource allotment and budget planning to meet complex business requirements

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand critical business success factors and key performance indicators

• Manage and support the career growth of your direct reports

Essential Requirements

  • Leadership experience and Hands-on experience in developing web applications/products in technology organizations.

  • Experience in Microservices, Cloud and Dev-Ops technologies.

  • Effective technical leadership across large, global software teams, building enterprise ecommerce applications.

Desirable Requirements

  • Our technical stack includes .NETCore, C#, E-Commerce Web Development, React.js Angular, Web API (MS ASP.Net), MVC, WCF, RabbitMQ, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, .Net Framework, CI/CD and cloud technologies such as GitLab, VMware TANZU(Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and Kubernetes

  • Hands-on experience leading software development with these or similar technologies would be advantageous.
