Software Engineer - IT Talent Pool - TDC Event

This Talent Pool is intended to Software Engineers who will participate in the TDC Event and have interest to have a conversation with Talent Acquisition team from Dell. The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Software Engineers at Dell:

  • Create design specifications for high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by both internal and external customers

  • Work with clients and Business Analysts to determine software requirements and system impacts

  • Lead small to moderate budget projects; may perform in project leadership role and/or may supervise the activities of lower level personnel

  • Conduct and monitor production launches and post-launch support, coordinating with geographically-distributed teams in conference calls

Requirements for Software Engineers at Dell:

  • Moderate experience in the IT industry, BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organization and prioritization skills

  • Excellent team player, yet capable of working independently with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
