What you’ll achieve
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Team is on a journey to transform all the traditional operations activities into an SRE model. This position is leading one team, the SRE team on this journey within the overall context of the organizational transformation.
As a Software Reliability Engineering (SRE) Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who provide expertise to Develop application platform, automation and monitoring through AI/ML, Dell Digital tools, infrastructure (hardware, data, software), security, information access, system performance and data integrity.
The SRE manager utilizes and/or develops appropriate Dell Digital tools to resolve issues within global, complex technical, business-critical and mission-critical environments. Also providing technical expertise to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize costs while maintaining scalability.
You will work with SRE team closely as a subject-matter expert with development background in more than one technical discipline. He/she will need the ability to recognize proactive development opportunities to automate processes and proactively work cross-functionally and inter-departmentally throughout the organization to recommend/implement solutions and process improvements.
Lead SRE transformation for Finance/EBS Team
Develop engineering solutions to operational problems, process, etc.
Manage activities and personnel of the Finance/EBS Team
Ensure the Finance Month-End close complete on time within business SLA.
Monitors performance of SRE personnel, reviewing response times, problem logs, engineering solutions and trends in problems reported
Develop engineering solutions and automation through AI/ML
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Manage the activities within their department. Ensure standards for service are established and met
Work with Security team proactively to mitigate security risks.
Selects, develops, and implement industry standard best practices into application.
Manage associated spending and budgets as required

Experience with working in Oracle EBS
Work experience with Sabrix and Oracle EPM would be plus
Strong software engineering skills
Strong customer service skills
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup
8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
2+ years managerial or leadership experience
