What you’ll achieve

As a Retail Field CTO, you will be responsible for developing Retail Industry specific solutions and product positioning strategy in conjunction with the Global Sales CTO organization. Working with partners and clients, the Retail Field Director identifies Retail business needs and designs transformative solutions to support these business opportunities. The Retail Field CTO also supports the tactical roll out of Dell Technologies Retail Vertical solutions within the client base globally.

Along with understanding Dell Technologies products/services and solutions and how they can add value to the Retail Vertical industry, the Retail Field Director maintains subject matter knowledge/expertise with regards to emerging technologies and is a key contributor to the strategic thought leadership for current and future industry solutions.

You will

  • Serve as the retail subject matter expert for Dell EMC in the region that he/she supports.

  • Engage with customers to credential Dell EMC in the retail space to create new opportunities and drive revenue.

  • Educate and enable core and business unit sellers to ensure alignment of messaging and execution of sales campaigns.

  • Present at executive briefings, board meetings, and roundtables/panels

  • Manage relationships with key retail executives

  • Align with VAR and SI/SO community to scale solutions and GTM execution

Essential Requirements

  • 8+ years selling into or working for retailers.

  • A passion for retail transformation and how Dell EMC can play a role in that transformation.

  • Strong understanding of the current trends in retail.

  • Ability to rationalize customer challenges/initiatives and align Dell Technologies resources and solutions to be a valued partner

  • Ability to define strategy, plans and programs to exceed revenue objectives

  • Bachelor’s Degree
