Advisor, Product Management Release Lead for VxRail - Remote, US
Product Management is a fast-paced environment where innovative thinking is prized. Showcasing excellence and innovation at every stage, Product Management is responsible for the cross-functional management of products or solutions through their entire lifecycle. Using a wealth of technical and industry experience, we work across functional areas to implement our products or solutions. We undertake thorough analysis of the markets to ensure we maximize profitability and adjust our product strategies to respond to competition. Our role also involves acting as subject matter experts for internal and external product events or partner meetings.

What you’ll achieve
As a Product Management Release Lead, you will identify new growth areas, technologies and emerging product opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize existing products and build next generation products. You will partner closely with the VxRail Product Management Feature Leads, Engineering Product Owners, and COC Product Line Manager to build a product road map and align product strategies for the business.

Skills and Qualifications:
Deep understanding of and extensive experience with the Offer Lifecycle (Management) Process for New Product Introductions
Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools for product development (Jira and Confluence in particular)
Skills to quickly learn and lead new technology initiatives
Understanding of hyper-converged market, and VMware software-defined products, a big plus
Ability to navigate the Dell, Dell EMC, and VMware organizations is also a plus
Self-motivated to do what needs to be done
Manage products throughout their entire lifecycle
Support business case for improvements or new products
Capture and manage requirements and provide a simple interpretation
Identify, prioritize, and rank new features for new product releases and updates and document these in Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and PCRs (Product Change Requests)
Represent Product Management on VxRail Core Teams for the releases you lead
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on VxRail Core Teams to gain approval for PRDs and PCRs.
BA/BS degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in tech environment
Substantial knowledge of Product Management and Engineering Development methodologies
Experience developing product strategy, roadmaps, requirements, and business case justification
Able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring daily decision-making
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
