What you’ll achieve

The DT Select Global Operations Business Partner Director will be responsible to provide key business support to the DT Select Sales Team in all aspects of their business operations. The successful candidate will act as a conduit between the Sales and Business Operations functions and will be required to support the DT Select leadership team in decision making, financial management, data analysis, business planning. You will play a key role as subject matter expert and analyst to the Sales team and should position themselves as a trusted advisor to the Sales & Operations leadership team. Must be a high performer and capable of adapting to a fast-changing environment.

You will:

  • Drive the Global DTS Business Partner team, providing management support, coaching and supporting escalations

  • Understanding of fundamental financial principles such as bookings, revenue, operating costs and capital expenditure

  • Extensive coordination of communications and information dissemination with sales team and cross-functional organizations

  • Provide leadership guidance on sales measurement models and diagnostic tools to help identify sales performance indicators, key areas of opportunity

  • Determine strategic priorities, performance metrics and sales effectiveness tracking methods

  • Interpret data sets and formulate why business scenarios are occurring in order to make informed decisions

  • Drive deal structure, pricing, contractual elements and any commercial terms to make recommendations to Sales on best approach

  • Oversee deal governance processes and coordinate reviews of large, complex business engagements

  • Master the pricing process and best practices for hardware, software and transformational deals in order to facilitate pricing approvals

Essential Requirements

  • Knowledge of / ability to learn and articulate DT product portfolio

  • Appropriate understanding of business reporting suites (e.g. FDM/PowerBi/SFDC/Score/Salesworks) and other applications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills to frequently interact with senior levels of the organization

  • Financial and analytical experience

  • Possesses strong leadership, people management and development skills for 10+ person team

Desirable Requirements

  • Business modeling and analysis – strong ability to build models and gain insight from data

  • Excellent Presentation skills – presenting to senior leadership and making recommendations

  • Business Intelligence – experience building models in Excel and reporting/ dashboards in tools like PowerBi, Tableau, and SQL Reporting Services
