Your analysis will have a direct impact on how Services CoC - Services Portfolio Managers and Services Product Group teams drive business outcomes like Offer Performance Optimization, Best of Breed Benchmarking, Multi Year Planning and various other High Impact Analytics Projects. This is a global role and you will need to work within a variety of cultures and time-zones.

What you’ll achieve

As a Marketing Operations Senior Advisor on our Global Analytics team within the Services CoC you will help solve some of the most challenging business problems and you will learn what it takes to deliver real business outcomes in ISG Services. Primary focus will be on the existing core services portfolio, with opportunities to get involved with supporting the buildout of new offers as well. You will build strong relationships with our key Services Portfolio Management and Services Product Group stakeholders to understand the business needs and pain points. Telling stories, identifying trends and delivering insights from data.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships and become a key partner to our stakeholders and help them drive strategic projects by bringing key insights which drive business outcomes, but also become the trusted advisor for any business and/or data questions.

  • Serve as a requirements analyst in determining reporting and analytics needs for business partners.

  • Develop the data structure, system, process to produce recurring reports.

  • Use different technology platforms like Power BI/Tableau/SQL/Teradata to deliver high impact reporting to our internal customers. Build scalable dashboards and reports. Application of data science frameworks where appropriate.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel/MS PowerPoint, building dashboards / reports in Tableau, PowerBI

  • 8+ years of professional experience in data intensive fields (BI, FP&A, Data Science) dealing with medium to large complex data scenarios.

  • Solid SQL and knowledge of relational databases.

  • Ability to root cause data issues and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights.

  • Passion for data insights, highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, good collaboration inside and outside team.

Desirable requirements

  • Ability to work with varied data infrastructures – including relational databases and excellent understanding of Dell EMC Databases/Tables

  • Exposure to machine learning or machine learning pipelines is a plus.

  • Understanding of Cloud/aaS Service technologies

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a numeric / economics related field, or equivalent practical experience.
