Principal Trade Compliance Product Manager

What you’ll achieve

As a Product Management Consultant in IT, you will apply broad knowledge of the company’s products and services to identify new areas of growth, new technology and emerging product opportunities. You will evaluate in-depth market analysis and drive the business case for optimization of existing products and creation of next generation products. You will work with U.S. and multinational companies, understand national and international trade requirements, and align client trade functions with their business objectives.

You will:

•Single point of accountability for the Trade Product in DAO Region

•Product Ownership supporting Dell's strategy, including business solution concepts, user stories etc. for KTLO, growth & enterprise level needs

•Collaborates with business partners to determine software requirements & system impacts

•Defines persona-based & customer-centric outcome-based roadmaps that align to key opportunities & strategic partnerships

•Interface with internal stakeholders, external customers & users to validate business; partners with engineers to drive alignment on those interests and ensure the development of key outcomes

• Manage, support and improve products through the entire life cycle and helping to assist in Training the AMS Teams for supporting roles of the new delivery

• Work extensively with the Feature Teams to manage the Sprint Workloads and Prioritize with the Business requests

• Manage requirements gathering and provide advanced interpretation and recommendations

• Be a subject matter expert for external and internal product events

Essential Requirements

-12–15 years of related trade compliance or manufacturing experience relating to product management, design, test and quality

-Previous experience in similar roles in a global technology organization

-Knowledge of RPLS and Import/Export Documentation

-A deep understanding of business and global trade laws (global

-Strong leadership skills for driving and collaborating cross functional groups.

-Knowledge within the Trade Compliance Business Practices ( Restricted Party Screening, Documentation, etc )

-Strong leadership skills for driving and collaborating cross functional groups and Leading the Domain

-Excellent understanding of competitors and their products, as well as potential partner relationships for the product

Desirable Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree

-Experience with Tradesphere and Oracle GTM (or an equivalent tech competitor)
