What you’ll achieve
As a Product Owner, you will lead and support Apex Cloud Services Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) operations teams that are foremost responsible for delivering and managing service performance, reliability and availability expected by our customers at-scale. In this role, a Product Owner must will be adept and practiced at balancing and prioritizing near-term critical issues with the unrelenting need to continuously improve the management platform, automated runbooks, and monitoring capabilities of your Apex Cloud Service.
Success is measured not only by our customers success but also by you and your team’s ability to industrialize fleet management at scale. In this role, you will coordinate, collaborate, and negotiate with Apex product engineering teams, customer success managers, support engineers and other key stakeholders to consistently and reliably deliver an Apex Cloud Service experience that facilitates customer adoption and retention and optimizes operational efficiency at-scale.
Provide direction to a team of Apex Service Site Reliability Engineers as the Product Owner for a selected Apex Cloud Service(s) towards that vision/goal
Own, maintain, prioritize, and groom the backlog and lead sprint planning to ensure each team is always delivering maximum value, as well as, coordinate activities and backlog prioritization with internal teams to deliver new product functionality
Use Kanban methodology and Agile practices for successfully delivery of Apex services, as well as, assess the value, and prioritize new features / capabilities, stability enhancements and efficiency improvements to ensure product backlog reflects maximum return-on-investment
Manage and maintain a release roadmap consisting of tasks, use cases, and epics that incrementally delivers against your vision/goals, as well as, utilize Customer Journey Maps and User Personas to create concise, high-quality User Stories and Requirements
Use Service Level Objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) / metrics associated with the Apex Cloud Service to ensure customer satisfaction and adhere to service Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:
12-15 years of Product Manager experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technical degree; or commensurate experience
4+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Software Product Management role
Robust experience with Agile principles and track record of driving engineering and process improvement efforts utilizing Agile/Lean processes
Deep, fundamental understanding of software development procedures
Adept at using multiple prioritization techniques like RICE, Effort/Impact, Design Canvas, etc.
Solid understanding and experience with DevOps / DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and related toolchains
Experience with Incident and Service Request Management and related toolchains
Experience with Service Level Objectives (SLOs) in a production setting
