IT Service Operation

Join us as a Senior Advisor on our IT Service Operations team in Remote USA to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Advisor, you will provide support to Structured (TD, GP) and Unstructured (Hadoop) platform's Incident Management processes and its life cycle until Service Availability of the systems are resumed. Resolve issue that is logged through Helpdesk and ensure resolution meets the SLA.

You will:

  • Design, Provide, build custom solutions and Adopt monitoring standards within Structured (TD, GP) and Unstructured (Hadoop) platform's

  • Define, develop, and maintain monitoring and reporting on Platform. Responsible for end-to-end availability, efficiency, reliability, and security of Structured (TD, GP) and Unstructured (Hadoop) platform's

  • Identify and correct bottlenecks in the system while working with development teams on optimization, implement best practices as well as work closely with users for timely fix or enhancements and manage product quality with proper tracking.

  • Responsible in planning, performance tuning of systems, documenting best practices, analyzing and fixing recurring issues in systems.

  • Communicates with all stakeholders (customers, development teams, end users, etc.) to address system issues.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent Experience with Structured (Teradata, Greenplum) and Unstructured (Hadoop) platform's Administration and Operational Support

  • High-level troubleshooting experience and a passion for providing excellent service to all internal and external customers.

  • Experience building custom tools that automate day-to-day operational tasks on the Structured (TD, GP) and Unstructured (Hadoop) platform's

  • Interest in quickly learning new technologies. Ability to work in a team environment and as an individual contributor

  • Hands-on experience in trouble shooting complex issues in the above technology space and manage Service Requests (SR's) to resolution effectively.

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field with 8-10 years of experience in applications support and/or development

  • Experience in release and management of Structured (TD, GP) and Unstructured (Hadoop) platform’s, NoSQL, Spark, Big Data Technologies. Good knowledge in Container services, UNIX system administration
