Responsible for a set of products and services, they get to know their portfolio inside and out. Our Inside Sales teams rely on them for technical advice during the sales process. They directly advise customers on everything from product features and configurations, through to pricing and availability. Crucially, however complex the question, they’re ready to deliver technical solutions to meet customers’ needs via phone, chat, web or email.
Execute Support & Deployment services strategy through the Distribution channel.
Engage at multiple levels within Distributors as their Services SME to identify areas of opportunity to position services solutions which combine HW and SW as well as complement Distribution’s current offerings
Mentor the Distribution Dell EMC OVR’s on selling services
Regularly engaged at Distributor facilities to deliver enablement and conduct regular Service reviews with Distribution Core and Field Sales as well as their strategic reseller partners
Collaboratively work on go-to-market strategies to drive Dell’s services portfolio within key Distribution reseller partners
Account planning to form a strategic approach that supports Service’s GAM’s objectives for Services growth within assigned Distribution partner
Ability to understand new technologies and service offerings will be crucial as acquisitions are added to the portfolio
Work closely with Dell’s Services Sales org, Program Manager, Global Account Managers, and extended Distribution Account Management team to effectively execute objectives
Ensure proper governance is followed to ensure customer satisfaction and risk mitigation
Recommends service solutions to assist with overall system design and integration within distribution’s focus partner community
Expert knowledge of Client and Enterprise Services with particular emphasis on Deployment Services and Channel Programs
Expert strategic and organizational agility skills
Advanced ability to understand a Distributor's business, technology and process needs, and translate that understanding into actionable, industry-leading services solutions
Expert working-level knowledge of the processes, technologies, and people components of services solutions
Uses advanced knowledge to build relationships and assist in developing business solutions using Dell services
Distribution experience preferred
Strong level of competency in providing total solutions and providing cross segment teamwork
Exhibits a broad based knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding
Minimum 5 years relationship sales experience
Ability to travel to Distribution sites and field sales meetings (50%-75% travel)
