Within Channel Business , we are looking for a Partner Account Manager Acquisition to join our team in Germany (remote) .

Principal Responsibilities

The Partner Account Manager Acquisition is responsible for the overall activities to win new Channel Partner/Reseller. It includes the development and execution of the partner acquisition approach and partner development. This role serves as new partner identification Dell EMC and is responsible to establish robust methodology for scanning partners in the regional market.

  • Responsibility for acquiring new partners

  • Proactive and structured acquisition of new channel partners

  • Professional potential analysis of regional new partners

  • Understands complexities of the environment and works to solve routine business issues

  • Collaborates with other functions to resolve escalations and issues quickly. Orchestrate Dell EMC resources (inside sales, marketing, BU)

  • Ensure partners within their account set, or assigned territory, are enabled to effectively position and sell Dell EMC solution.

  • Leads partner prioritization of strategic Dell EMC Lines of business and solutions through certification training and enablement. Develops, motivates and coordinates Dell EMC segment sales team, BU and inside Channel sales team to optimize sales execution.

  • Interfaces between the channel partner and Dell EMC teams to manage conflict and ensure that service level agreements are met.

  • Good knowledge of the German channel partner landscape

  • Dealing with ambiguity

  • Advanced understanding of channel partner climate

  • Ability to understand the business requirements of new partners and build solutions that addresses the partner business needs

Education and Experience

  • 4+ years of Sales, Marketing and/or Business experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master´s degree

  • English & German fluent

  • Proven experience with management and execution of plans with partners

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills to communicate with partners

  • Used to work in international matrix organization

  • Experience and strong track record in acquisition of new partners
