Global Supply Chain Manager - Franklin, Mass

Working in an environment that’s as complex as it is critical, our Buyer team within Materials and Procurement manages a group of indirect categories, such as real estate, marketing material, supplies or software. We use our in-depth knowledge and experience to develop strategic relationships with external suppliers as well as with key stakeholders. Our role also includes leading contract negotiations, managing risk, driving cost-saving initiatives and implementing strategic sourcing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works directly with suppliers to assure capacity and continuity of supply for Enterprise HDD

  • Coordinates closely with regional buyers to ensure world-wide supply coverage

  • Collaborates with Demand Planning to validate forecast and align future supply

  • Manages inventory within financial targets, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced planning and supply management skills

  • Supplier management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively resolve issues

  • Undergraduate degree

  • 4-6 years relevant experience in supply chain

Desirable Requirements

  • Presentation and communication skills

  • Strong demonstrated analytical ability
