What you’ll achieve

Dell’s Drive and Memory Engineering – DME is a global team, located in multiple geographies. The primary role entails evaluation & qualification of storage media products used in DELL EMC’s storage and appliance platform portfolio. The individual will be responsible for executing qualifications and ensuring that DELL EMC’s storage media quality and reliability expectations are met.

As a HW Engineer , you will be responsible for:

You will:

  • Responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of the multiple drive and storage media qualifications

  • Executing functional and non-functional test suites with the purpose of maintaining existing application, uncovering defects present in disk drive hardware and firmware.

  • Supplier management; communicating and providing feedback to suppliers on the needs and expectations of DELL EMC

  • Develops acceleration and analytical methods and processes to enhance and ensure the reliability and quality of new and existing products.

  • Data analytics and reporting to higher management and stakeholders
