As an APEX Storage Demand planner, you will join an influential and highly visible global team in the ISG Storage Planning org which will transform the way we plan and deliver on as-a-Service solutions.

What you’ll achieve:

As an APEX Storage Demand Planner & Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the demand plan as well as replenishment of material to achieve the appropriate Time-to-Value (TTV) to the customer. The APEX Storage Demand Planner is the liaison between the supply chain teams - operations/procurement/planning and sales/marketing teams and will leverage both supply chain planning and project management skills to effectively manage demand on Storage Offers.

You will:

  • Drive long term enablement by engaging with cross-functional stakeholders to set up planning process

  • Coordinate demand plan across various lines of businesses to ensure forecast is aligned to APEX Integrated Demand Plan (IDP)

  • Perform weekly material supportability checks against the latest IDP and own the communication plan to stakeholders

  • Provide APEX sourcing guidance for market commodities to procurement and other planning teams; manage excursions

  • Model and maintain desired stocking level for various components to support the 14d TTV at various manufacturing locations

  • Drives S&OP governance: Lead weekly forum to review demand, supportability, and replenishment, publishes dashboards with key metrics

  • Actively participate in core team engagements and ensure material readiness for RTS; drive product transition discussions and activities to mitigate APEX aging inventory / E&O

When you’re working in the fast-moving world of technology, product availability is critical – which makes the availability of raw materials for production critical too. Our Material Planning team provides a controlled flow of materials to meet production requirements. We produce detailed schedules adapting them if necessary, to meet backlog or material shortages, as well as material requirement lists and production plans that balance the demand and supply position of platforms and commodities to optimize product availability and cost. We’re experts at resolving problems with inventory, production schedules or material shortages and recommending procedures to avoid future problems.

Essential Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Math, Finance, or applicable field) or 5+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree

  • Strong understanding of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) elements and process

  • Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools; Conversant in Power BI and other Data Visualization tools

  • Effective Collaboration and Project Management skills

Desirable Requirements:

  • Facilitation and presentation skills to Executives - VPs/Directors

  • General Product and market knowledge regarding Dell and industry Storage Products a plus

  • Supply chain planning experience in technology, semi-conductor industry
