Join us as a Technical Program Management Senior Advisor on our Global Engineering Services team in Hopkinton to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

Drive the development and implementation of new and exciting products and services. Working closely with sales, customer service, partners, customers and other technical support groups in cross-functional teams, you will manage the entire lifecycle of highly complex, high risk projects from design to delivery. Manage Global Operations readiness for new hardware products in Storage and Solutions Business Units. Coordinate and facilitate extended teams with worldwide factories, supply chain, process engineering and test development

Represent Global Operations on product core teams. Communicate program status/risks/issues to business units, operations leadership and factory personnel

You will:

• Manage multiple projects, typically in single functional area, or a moderately complex project

• Interface with IT, design business requirements and facilitate business adoption of new infrastructure

• Understand impact of emerging business trends and their implications for Dell and its customers

• Develop common-sense solutions to complex business problems through in-depth examination, coordination and collaboration with key decision makers

• Consider Dell-wide implications of decisions and recommendations

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline and 6+ years related hardware solution project management experience and/or equivalent work experience

Proven ability to manage and influence in a matrix environment

Strategic thinking/planning/problem solving abilities

Demonstrable ability to effectively lead teams

Effective communication skills - oral, written, presentation

Desirable Requirements

Experience in electronics manufacturing, new product introduction, material planning, and/or test development Storage solutions product experience

Master's degree in business, supply chain or manufacturing
