When you’re driving human progress through technology, having cutting-edge production processes and procedures is crucial. That’s the remit of our Production Control team, which oversees the planning, forecasting, scheduling and monitoring of materials and orders through the production process. We approve quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization and perform scheduling and material requirements using appropriate tools. As well as reviewing stock against project requirements, we estimate and record the production rates.
Has an expert understanding of the IT tools and systems used to manage backlog, bookings, shipments and all necessary reporting requirements
Provides guidance as well as direction to production cells regarding sales order priority, engineering change orders (ECOs), technical change orders (TCOs), product ship authorization (PSAs) and quality issues
Work with cross functional teams to meet daily business goals
Proactive enough to highlight challenges to management on daily numbers
Strong knowledge of all manufacturing processes and procedures
Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions
Problem solving skills
- Preferable to have coding or automation knowledge
