The Dell Office of the CTO is looking for an Operations Program Manager to join our Business Operations and Planning team and drive operational excellence within the Technology Insights Group. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing programs and operations for technical or strategy teams while interacting with senior-level executives. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are required to provide solutions and recommendations for processes and confidently guide the teams through their challenges and risks.

What you’ll achieve
As a Business Operations Program Manager, you will collaborate with our customers to define business requirements while providing solutions and tools that strengthen business processes. You will define objectives based on end-user needs and identify the organization's strengths, finding ways to maximize opportunities and improve business processes.
Develop and present reports to track planning, scheduling, issues, risks and overall status for operational reviews.
Define and own metrics and key performance indicators
Oversee the creation of new processes and tools as necessary to support additional needs and requirements.
Exercise technical judgment to keep goals for programs, projects, and products realistic and attainable within a given timeline
Define and own metrics and key performance indicators
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
Strong awareness of industry trends, business conditions and internal processes and practices to meet project/program delivery requirements
Facilitate communication and information sharing between different teams and roles within and outside the Office of the CTO
Influence and manage continuous improvement of project/program processes and initiatives

12 + years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's Degree or 8 + years with a Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to demonstrate strong communication, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must have demonstrated a high attention to detail, an analytical approach to working in teams that deliver advanced and emerging technologies of the future.
Self-starter and self-motivated, while excelling at collaboration and teamwork
Ability to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the marketplace.
Proficient in program management tools (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project,…)
Strong analytical skills with proven results
Customer and relationship-focused, process-driven, metric-focused, results-oriented, organized and self-directed
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects and assist/advise engineers and business analysts in establishing appropriate priorities
