Sales Strategy & Planning Analyst

This position will participate in the DellEMC Business Operations Leadership Development Program (BOLD). The program is extended over 36 months and divided into three 12 months rotations, allowing participants to acquire a comprehensive understanding of DellEMC’s Business Operations and Go-To-Market Strategy. As candidate rotates through different roles, gaining valuable experience in a variety of operational, analytical, and financial areas, in addition, candidates will receive ongoing training through a formal, cross-functional curriculum provided throughout the duration of the program.
Responsibilities will vary across roles but typical duties may include:
Creating and streamlining processes and reporting specifics to key operational initiatives
Providing operational and analytical support for the Sales organization
Analysis of complex deal structures to optimize pricing and margin
Daily reporting and analysis of revenue, bookings, margins, etc.
Business planning and quota setting by account and/or market segment
Evaluating Partner quotes for overall discount and margin
More detailed and technical aspects of the role may include:
Reporting within various systems (SAP, SFDC, Tableau, EPM etc.) to deliver key analysis to key stakeholders
Working with complex data sets by building and maintaining dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support initiatives across Field Operations, Sales Compensation, Expense, Business Planning, and Pricing
Organizing project activities and cross-functional meetings, provide support to achieve long and short-range project goals and offer improvement of business processes.
Demonstrated leadership experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Undergraduate degree in business-related field: Finance, Analytics, Management, Operations & Economics
Fluency in English
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, cross-functional and dynamic environment
Great team player
Second European Language is a plus
