Partner Account Manager – VMware

The primary responsibility to is to drive VMware GO To Market Strategy for India Channel and drive VMware Sales in all routes to market . ( VMware OEM , Dell as Distributor , VxRail ) . The primary focus is aimed at sustained sales growth as well as closing larger strategic business. Collaborating with the Dell Partner Account team & entire partner ecosystem to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close joint VMware & Dell Sales solution sales . Accurately forecast license bookings, specific products revenue, PSO bookings and new accounts on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis .

Primary Responsibilities:

· You will set VMware India Channel Account strategy , coordinate sales coverage and drive local sales execution.

· Establish key metrics for VMware sales, enablement and marketing.

· Serve as the single point of contact for VMware GTM in India Channel team

· Effectively communicate and coach ideas and concepts to Internal / external partner representatives on how to position and close VMware opportunities

· Lead day to day operations including presenting to partners, developing proposals and negotiating agreements.

· Create and deliver accurate quarterly and annual forecasts and account plans.

Job Requirements:

· At least 15+ years of experience in technology & software sales . ( VMware experience is a plus )

· You possess a successful track record working with large national resellers.

· You have executive presence: writing, speaking and appearance.

· Experience and comfort level working with C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies

· Familiarity with Value Selling or another established sales methodology a plus

· 20-30% travel.
