Order Experience Area Manager | Manager 2 Sales Operations

Our Sales Operations team is at the heart of developing sales processes and procedures for administering, fulfilling and communicating both online and offline orders. A bridge between sales and other operational functions, we use our peerless expertise to evaluate and implement improvements to sales programs and processes – from planning and prioritization to pricing and margin strategies, sales automation, reporting and more. Put simply, we make sure the process of getting our ground-breaking products and services to customers as simple and seamless as possible. Order Experience Area Manager is all about managing, inspiring and motivating professionals at all levels to deliver against targets. Beyond day-to-day people management, our team also shapes, executes and communicates specific sales operations strategies

What you’ll achieve

You will oversee a team responsible for supporting orders of our North American CSB customers, including career development, performance management and pay discussions of team members.

As a Sales Operations Manager 2, you will enable agents to maximize returns on IT investments, drive efficiencies and reduce costs. You will play a meaningful role in meeting customers’ needs, identifying root causes for order error to fix upsteam, and rebook as many orders to protect the P&L. You will build positive relationships, ensuring an outstanding experience for both our customers, sales teams and our Order Experience teams.

You will:

  • Motivate and drive the organization to meet and exceed their performance goals

  • Have a solid understanding of complexities of the environment and work internally to solve business issues

  • Develop, design, and monitor operational sales tools, tasks and programs

  • Coordinate communications and information dissemination with the sales force and cross-functional organizations within Dell Technologies

  • Lead process improvement programs

  • Liaise between the customer and the sales organization

Essential Requirements

  • 8–12 years of related experience

  • Strong leadership skills that can be used to translate strategic direction into results

  • Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions

  • Strong project management skills

  • A solid understanding of industry trends

  • A good understanding of key sales and management reporting tools

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
