Within Sales Operations at Dell EMC, we are looking for a Sales Support Team Leader – S&P Sales Operations to join our team in Halle /Saale ( Germany) .

Dell S&P 3rd Party is an exciting business and is critical in supporting the organization’s growth and increasing need to provide solutions to our customer for non-standard Hard- and Software product requirements.

This role will be a combination of 2 responsibilities, firstly focus on directly collaborating with the Sales community across segments and provide them with the most appropriate sourcing and operational solutions in supporting non-standard S&P 3rd Party customer requirements. And secondly managing a team of people who may be based abroad.

The role will be pivotal between sales, Global Procurement, Finance, Ops, Marketing, Partners & 3rd party distributors and other business stakeholders that you will have to interact with to deliver according to the agreed SLA’s.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business enablement, ensure that non-standard requirements are met and dealt with end-to-end.

  • Large opportunities, supporting sales with special bid pricing, Customer Specific SKU setup and follow through to a successful completion of the order.

  • For non-standard requests, contact all necessary EMEA S&P functions to provide to the sales resource the feasibility information in the agreed timeframe

  • Provides pre-sales and/or post-sales operational support.

  • Serves as interface for order status and handles order escalation and SKU management.

  • Manages a team of up to 7 people (some based abroad)

  • Provide escalation support to sales/customers in the countries.

  • Interacts with marketing, procurement, fulfilment, distribution partners etc in order to grow the business and improve the operational metrics.

Essential Requirements

  • The candidate has an excellent knowledge of the distribution, partners and resellers local landscape.

  • Local language (German) as well as English spoken and written is key requirement.

  • Strong inter-personal skills, self-starting and self-motivating,

  • Ability to meet complete tasks within tight time frames to meet deadlines.

  • High energy individual, strong planning-, management and organizational skills.

  • A relationship builder with a proven track record of dealing with people in a dynamic and pressurized environment.

  • 1-3 year experience in managing a team.
