Within Global Compute Networking (GCN ) we are looking for a Customer Sales Engineer to join our team remote in Hannover (Germany) and play a key role in the evolution of Dell EMC.
Our field sales professionals rely on proactive technical support during the sales process – and our expert Systems Engineering team always steps up to the mark. We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installations or system integration plans, we ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need.
Comprehensive technical support for Dell EMC customers in the assigned sales area
Qualification of projects, definition of necessary resources
Collaboration and influence on the customers IT strategy in favor of Dell EMC products
Creation of offers and follow-up to delivery
Accompaniment and configuration of test systems at the customer site (on-time control and control of the return of the devices)
Essential Requirements :
University degree or equivalent technical eduation
Min. 6 years project and pre-sales experience
Very good technical know-how in hardware as well as software (Back Office operating systems), server and storage systems & virtualization (VMware, Hyper V, Citrix)
Communicative skills, convincing conversation, presentation skills and assurance of completion
Openness, flexibility, independence, teamwork and motivation
Fluent English and German verbal and written
Proven product knowledge in hardware / network / storage, server and enterprise software and services
