What you’ll achieve

As a VMWare BDM, you will manage our channel partners in the region, working to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies and business opportunities.

The VMWare partnership is essential to Dell Technologies providing infrastructure and SW solutions from the edge, to the data center to the cloud, and the channel plays a critical role in bringing solutions to market

The role requires one to be an ambassador of the channel and the liaison between the many cross-functional organizations and intersections between the two companies, to align and execute on a common documented mission.

You will:

• Support a range of channel accounts and partners

• Develop and manage day-to-day relationships with our channel partners and distributors, ensuring high satisfaction with our solutions

• Fully understand how our business model relates to selling our products and services, being the main point of contact

• Resolve or escalate any customer concerns as appropriate

• Negotiate to achieve desired results and meet customer needs

Essential Requirements

• Knowledge of the Partner Ecosystem including knowledge of specific partner types for example System Integrators, ISVs and Telco workloads, IHV and VIM Partners.

• 5 to 7 years of similar experience working with the Channel or in a relationship-selling role

• Good oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, leadership and to support other team members

• Excellent English language skills and French, German or Nordics native speakers

Desirable Requirements

• VMWare certifications

•7+ years demonstrated success in business/market development, product management or partner management.

•Knowledge of Dell Technology infrastructure products and solutions including: server, storage, and networking related to IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, analytics and assurance, NFV/Telco Cloud, and emerging Edge/5G technologies
