Dell Senior System Engineer DPS in Herzliya, Israel

Our Systems Engineer will be Responsible for the technical account strategy and expertise in support of presales activities for DPS solutions. Assists in the analysis, design and development of solutions. Deep technical understanding of specialty subject matter, and is seen as go-to resource for sales & marketing. Makes technical and sales presentations to customer's technical staff and leadership. Is aligned to the DPS Sales Specialist and works closely with the Account Systems Engineer, ASE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements and competition

  • Uses specialized sizing methodology and engineered systems knowledge to effectively configure & design solutions

  • Uses knowledge of solution value and competitive solutions to address and dispel customer objections

  • Educates BUs (external to DPS), customers and partners on Data Protection technologies on a regular basis to ensure teams are up-to-date on the latest features/functionality/values and ensuring technical win

  • Engages and leverages other specialty SEs and other corporate resources as appropriate

  • Presents and demonstrates the design and value of proposed solution and technical ROI to customers, prospects and management

  • Involved in the review of customer quotes for accuracy with customer technical requirements

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of related experience

  • Excellent presentation skills in front of all levels of the IT Organization

  • Detailed data center product knowledge (Storage, Servers, Networking)

  • Customer focused

  • Communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with senior management

  • Ability to manage in a matrix environment

  • Ability to influence others to achieve results
