Dell Senior Technical Content Developer in Herzliya, Israel

About the team and role

We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our Technical Content team in the Dell ISG - PowerFlex Organization. The PowerFlex Technical Content team is a mighty group of writers who strive to deliver accurate, concise, and well-written technical documentation, online help, error messages, UI text, and other content that help our users to perform their tasks.

This team is seeking someone with unique skills, experiences, and qualities, to add to the diversity of our group, but we want someone who shares a knack for simplifying the complexity of our platform's robust capabilities, so that information is presented to users in clear, consumable, actionable ways.

Ground-breaking products deserve to be accompanied by world-class technical information. Dell Technologies customers expect nothing less. That’s where our Technical Content Development team comes in. Working side-by-side with editors and illustrators, subject matter experts and stakeholders, the team creates clear, concise and easy-to-understand content for multiple channels. What you’ll achieve

As a technical writer, you’ll work with the software engineering teams to write documentation around exciting technology. You’ll thrive here, if you’re curious, open-minded, flexible, passionate about user experience, love to take ownership, and deeply value collaboration.

You will:

  • Plan, create, and maintain software documentation for a highly technical product.

  • Work closely with engineers to understand requirements, gather information, and translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content. You’re curious & dig in so you understand not just how the product works, but why it matters & the value added.

  • Collaborate cross functionally and with other writers to address customer feedback, maintain internal process documentation, and work on strategic content initiatives.

  • Use software and issue-tracking tools to verify the accuracy of your work in collaboration with a more senior writer.

  • Adapt to a fast-paced, multi-team agile environment with a willingness to manage competing priorities and to learn and grow.
