The Dell EMC Global Sales Communications team is hiring a Corporate Communications Advisor to own responsibilities for Dell’s internal Sales team communications platforms, specifically Global Sales Communities. Additionally, this role will serve as lead communications liaison for Sales Learning & Enablement, amongst other responsibilities.
The successful candidate will partner with their Global Sales Communications teammates to create and own the online platform strategy for Dell’s Global Sales Community, the company’s primary online resource for communicating with its +40,000 member salesforce, as well as the regional Community pages. This includes curating content, creating banners and featured content, and devising necessary content timelines.
In addition, this person will support Global Communications efforts for Dell’s Sales Learning and Enablement teams to ensure our Salesforce is fluent with the latest training, certifications and expectations. This person will also be responsible for other Sales Communication duties as required.
Primary focus is managing Dell’s Global Sales Communities, working closely with Global Sales Communications teammates to create and own the online platform strategy.
Act as Sales Communications point person for Sales Learning and Enablement programs, updates and communications strategies and execution
Work collaboratively with Sales Communications team to support Dell regional teams, and help direct and orchestrate global amplification of assets
Understand key business drivers and competitive dynamics to position business interests successfully and timely with target groups
A degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Marketing or a related field is required, along with five years professional communications experience
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong writing, editing, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
HTML/Web publishing skills, Adobe Photoshop experience, and Online Community (specifically Jive) management skills are a plus
Candidate must be organized, enthusiastic, results oriented, innovative and able to deal with ambiguity and tight deadlines while working effectively in a team environment
This is an individual contributor role (no people management)
