We are subject matter experts in hardware, data and software, security, information access, system performance and data integrity. We also work in partnership with other IT functions and departments to recommend process improvements and resolve system outages.

What you’ll achieve
As a Network Support Engineer, you will be part of the team that is responsible for managing our enterprise production Datacenter environment. This role requires hands on working knowledge of Cisco network devices (IOS and NXOS), a good understanding of the OSI model, IPsec Tunnels and Firewalls with experience working in a virtual datacenter environment.
As a Network Support Engineer, you will provide remote and onsite first level support for internal technical issues in complex and business-critical environments. You will liaise with cross-functional teams to deliver timely solutions with exceptional customer service.
Configure, administer, and troubleshoot production Dell Datacenter network comprising of mainly Cisco switches and routers
Set up IPSEC VPN tunnels between the client and Dell datacenters as part of onboarding new customers on Cisco devices; and troubleshoot network problems while supporting a variety of network equipment and other Dell Hardware
Schedule preventive maintenance and optimizing network for performance.
Contact vendors repairs when hardware malfunctions occur; maintain maintenance records on networking hardware; oversee/perform new and existing Network equipment upgrades.

2+ years of experience in Datacenter Network technologies including configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus switches, VMware vSphere, ESXi, Access Lists, Routing, Switching etc.
1+ years of experience in setting up and troubleshooting IPSEC VPN Tunnels.
Good working knowledge of Virtual Datacenter aswell as understanding of Firewalls and Network security
Excellent verbal and written skills working directly with Dell Technologies Services customers
Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills and open to work off hours as needed in case of an issue
Bachelor’s in Engineering/ Computer Science or related Field
One or more relevant certifications such as CCNA would be an advantage
