Dell Service Provider Solutions Practice Lead - Remote in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, Motivate, mentor, encourage, and drive a globally diverse team of Solution Architects as the Solutions and Architecture Practice Lead

• Chair review meetings of solutions built by the team for accuracy, completeness, professionalism, business results, and adherence to templates/process

• Coordinate with technical teams and project management to drive successful creation of Service Provider solutions

• Coordinate across internal team and business units across the enterprise to implement solutions

• Work with key Service Provider partners to understand business needs and recommend projects for solution creation

• Lead Ideation workshops to determine how we can partner with Service Providers

• Understanding of the different types and models of service providers including Telecom, Cloud Service Provider, Systems Integrator, and Strategic Outsourcers

• Co-develop “aaS” solutions with Service provider partners globally

• Implement solutions for Service Providers based on Go-To-Market strategies

• Support and deliver solutions to the Service Provider Campaign Practice to drive adoption and awareness of the solutions globally

• Drive successful adoption of Service Provider solutions through both internal and external partnership

• Build new Service Provider solutions and artifacts based on a defined Solution Creation Process (SCP)

• Provide weekly status updates on project status

Essential Requirements

• 15+ years experience in technical IT field

• Leadership skills

• Team leadership experience

• Experience with Project Planning tools and methodology

• Business development / strategic analysis

• Telco Cloud Technologies, Cloud Service Provider Technologies

• Strong Communication Skills

• Understanding of Service Provider market, requirements, technologies, drivers Storage Technologies

o Telco Technologies (NFV, OSS, BSS, SDWAN, 5G, ORAN, VRAN, etc)

The Service Provider and Telecom Transformation team (SPT2) within the Telecom Systems Business (TSB) is committed to developing solutions for service providers globally and integrating the breadth of the Dell Technologies portfolio for these solutions. Our team members combine technical knowledge with broad business development capabilities and Service Provider background to drive adoption of solutions with our customers & partners globally.

Showcasing excellence and innovation at every stage, the Service Provider Solutions Practice Lead is responsible for leading a practice team focused on working with partners to identify and jointly build/take to market service provider solutions based on Dell Technologies (Dell, DellEMC, VMWare, Virtustream, Boomi) and 3rd party ISV capabilities. Using a wealth of technical and industry experience, we work across functional areas to implement our products or solutions. We undertake thorough analysis of the markets to ensure we maximize profitability and adjust our product strategies to respond to competition. Our role also involves acting as subject matter experts for internal and external product events or partner meetings.

Note this position requires working with team members globally, including US, Australia, Middle East, and Europe on a daily basis
