IT Principal Software Engineer

What you’ll achieve
As an IT Principal Software Engineer, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most sophisticated technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.
Responsible for designing and developing CI/ CD blueprints in Gitlab for cloud-native applications deployable to Pivotal cloud foundry, Pivotal container services/ Kubernetes and SAAS offerings like SFDC, Azure , AWS etc. Design end-to-end pipelines including build, Test, Security scans, release, deployment and configuration management.
Develop and maintain Docker images that are needed to run container-based CICD pipelines for various programming languages and softwares.
Strong basics on automating DevSecOps for various tools like checkmarx, blackduck, jfrog xray, HCL Appscan, prisma cloud. etc
Should be driving innovations and hackathons within the team
Pro-actively analyses current processes and practices and suggest/ drive improvements. Also, defines processes as needed
Provide an E2E support to the development team right from Branching strategies to Production deployment

Overall 10+ Years of experience and a minimum 3 to 5 Years of Strong Development Experience in Java/.Net/ Node JS Technologies
Good understanding of application performance in component, feature and E2E levels and exposure to system health monitoring tools/mechanisms
Experience in deployment automation and CI/CD Pipeline stages/activities, experience on Docker/Containers and delivering applications using zero downtime strategies like Blue/Green and Canary, rolling updates etc.
Experience building DevOps and Test automation capabilities from the ground up for cloud-based and legacy software solutions
Experience in Git/Gitlab or ADO, Visual studio, Eclipse, Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow, DevOps tool chain and other Open Source tools and Experience in Agile/Scrum and Extreme Programming methodologies
Prior Programming background on any of Python, Dotnet, Java.
• 4+ years of relevant experience on DevOps
• Bachelor’s degree in computing engineering or computer science
