eCommerce Analyst - US Consumer Dell.com Online Sales Manager (POS)

As an Online Sales Manager, you’ll be the eCommerce subject matter expert (SME) driving merchandising & sales strategies online to improve the customer experience & grow our POS attach rate. Our mission is to provide a best-in-class customer experience for consumers who choose to build their system and/or purchase other Dell, Alienware, & top electronics on Dell.com. As the POS Online Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the point-of-sale upsell customer experience, online placement strategy, and performance reporting & optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing online business performance – including financials, traffic, online KPIs (RPV, AOV, attach rate, etc.), and customer satisfaction – using tools like Excel power pivots, Power BI, Adobe Experience Cloud, & ContentSquare

  • Optimizing "candy aisle" messaging & merchandising based on performance metrics, trends, inventory, etc.

  • Developing, presenting & advocating for recommended optimizations from partner teams, like pricing updates & product line-up changes

  • Advising on how to bring campaigns, new POS strategies, initiatives, etc. to life on Dell.com; bringing the necessary teams together & coordinating cross-functionally to execute those plans

  • Collaborating with other online teams, like site experience & customer satisfaction, to understand how their initiatives, projects, insights, etc. can impact the POS business online

We are looking for a highly self-motivated, autonomous eCommerce expert who has a track record of maximizing conversion through performance optimization & eCommerce sales strategies. A successful candidate will be an active team player with a can-do attitude, a customer-oriented focus, & an entrepreneurial spirit. They will be proactive problem solvers that can articulate complex business problems & recommended solutions with ease & supporting data.

Essential Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel experience; comfortable using pivot tables and charts

  • Strong presentation & communication skills, including building effective presentation materials in PowerPoint

  • Very comfortable with remote work productivity tools, like Outlook, Teams, & Sharepoint

  • Strong project management skills/experience

Other Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working in a large, complex & matrixed organization

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Content Square, & other eCommerce analytics tools

  • Experience in the technology industry
