Key Responsibilities

This is a great opportunity to truly drive the business and work in a non-routine, project based arena. The Business Intelligent (BI) Analyst will seek opportunities to inject advanced analytical techniques for driving improved capabilities and meaningful insights using data. This person must have the ability to communicate and influence effectively as well as a passion and seasoned ability to analyze and drive insights using any data model.

  • This Analyst will be able to automate reporting with a combination of SQL, Excel, and BI tools like Tableau.

  • Develop new metrics to track our business and uncover previously unforeseen trends and insights.

  • Deep-dive a variety of ad hoc questions related to customer behavior to get to the root of the problem.

  • Primary Duties include:

  • Design & Implement Tableau dashboards that drive revenue & efficiencies in Commercial Operations

  • Create analytical datasets and work with IT to define &implement simple to use data models (i.e. star schema) for Commercial Operations

  • Primary liaison between IT and Commercial Operations for all data discovery, design, analysis

  • Partner with functional analyst community to maximize abilities in data discovery and visualization tools

  • Conduit to share best practices and successes across the lines of businesses and geographies

  • Essential Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years in an analyst role with data focus

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar degree

  • Experience creating dynamic visualizations via Tableau / Power BI etc

  • Project Based Experience is a Plus

  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) a plusBackground with customer relationship management principles and related systems

  • Familiarity with enterprise BI solutions (OBIEE, Cognos, Microstrategy, or similar)

  • Knowledge of EDWs (Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, or similar)

  • 3 - 5 years in an analyst role with data focus

  • Technical Skills (preferred):

  • Expertise with visualization tools such as Tableau, power bi

  • Expertise in SQL and relational databases to obtain and analyze large amounts of data

  • Experience with big data discovery tools

  • Strong background in preparing data for analysis, KPI definition, and reporting

  • Producing “high value” business analysis. Data discovery, validation, analysis (i.e. cluster analysis, multi-variate regression, data profiling), and presentation (i.e. Power Point) to non-technical audiencesManagement Level:Individual Contributor I6
