Dell is hiring for their Agile CRM Salesforce development teams. The Principal Software Engineer will be responsible for helping to deliver programs in a dynamic, fast paced, scalable Agile E-commerce environment. The teams need individuals with strong Salesforce knowledge and experience.
The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.
Candidates with strong programming knowledge in one of the languages like Core Java or .Net who is interested to switch technology to Salesforce can apply for this position.
Overall development lead for all the channel development teams
Technically help the scrum teams to achieve the sprint goals
Contributes to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems Salesforce environments
Prepares, reviews and analyzes Sales, Marketing and Channel SFDC specifications for products and systems
Contributes to the feature development using Apex coding, review, analysis and implementation of test strategies for complex software channel products and systems
Contributes to the development, test and integration of code for new or existing software of significant complexity involving multiple teams
Overall experience of 9 to 12 years
Strong knowledge of JAVA/Dotnet or Apex coding, SOQL, Java Script, CSS, HTML, REST, Sales cloud, databases, with experience in Salesforce development; Work experience showing growth as a full-stack developer and ready to take Salesforce development role.
Architect, design, build and deploy technology solutions at scale
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
BDD, TDD and Pair programming knowledge
Designs and implements software lifecycle and quality assurance methods for projects and product
Able to code/debug and guide others to code/debug flexible, scalable and complex programs, using either written or verbal design specifications
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (I7)
Dell is hiring Sr Software Engineer for their Agile CRM Salesforce development teams. We are looking for the rock star engineer to join our team of highly passionate about engineering and participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional requirement analysis, development of technical requirements, coding, testing, deployment, and end user support experts The Sr Software Engineer will be responsible for leading agile teams and helping to deliver programs in a dynamic, fast paced, scalable Agile E-commerce environment.
We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in software Development with demonstrated success in Salesforce sales cloud, Marketing cloud and experience in working in agile global teams.
Ideal candidates will have strong Salesforce APEX coding knowledge, lightning and expertise in integrations. Candidate should also have experience in mentoring junior resources in the team.
Candidates should be an excellent team player, yet capable of working independently. They will be expected to work with minimal direction and working proactively and collaboratively as members of large global project
Works closely with Product Owners and Business stakeholders to understand the requirements
Mentor junior members in the team and lead the design discussions.
Should have experience in Development, Configuration, Implementation and Support of Salesforce CRM applications based on Apex Language and leveraging Force.com Platform running in Cloud Computing Environments.
Should work on the designing of custom objects, custom fields, role based page layouts, custom Tabs, custom reports, report folders, design of Visual Force Pages, Dashboards, Apex Classes, Controllers & Triggers, VF Components and various other components as per the client and application requirements.
Should implement security and sharing rules at object, field, and record level for different users at different levels of organization. Also should have knowledge of creating various profiles and configured the permissions based on the organizational hierarchy.
Should have Good experience in design and develop Apex Classes, Controller Classes, and Apex Triggers for various functional needs in the application.
Should involve in Unit Testing, Test Coverage and Code Review.
Should have experience working with GITLab, Visual Studio code, Eclipse IDE and salesforce.com Sandbox environments.
Responsible for ensuring quality of their own work as well as the work of the development team
Investigates new technologies and techniques and researches ongoing industry developments
Development responsibilities include doing code review / bug analysis, analyzing development and impacts.
Candidate should have strong programming, debugging experience, and excellent problem solving skills.
The ability to work closely with product owners, developers, program managers and other test teams, to ensure the quality of the owned components

Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
6 to 9 years of industrial experience.
4+ years of experience in Salesforce and APEX development
Very Good experience in Salesforce.com and APEX coding.
Practical knowledge of object oriented programming
Practical experience in analyzing, designing, and developing solutions to highly complex problems
Strong confident communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information effectively to both IT and business audiences
Experience in Agile Scrum methodology
Familiar with Unit Test, Mock, Test Driven Development etc.
Ability to perform system-wide root cause analysis and drive improvements
