What you’ll achieve

As Technical Training Advisor supporting the Consumer and Small Business Sales organizations, you will deliver Dell training programs to Consumer and Small Business sales teams. You will work closely with sales management to ensure trainings are aligned with the objectives of the sales organizations. You will also work closely with peers on the training delivery team and instructional design team to learn and deliver training programs aligned with Dell strategy. This position reports to the Consumer and Small Business Sr. Training Manager in Global Sales Learning and Enablement’s Field Sales Enablement Team.

You will:

  • Responsible for the delivery of sales training; new hire onboarding, selling skills for inside sales, account planning, acceleration trainings and entry level technical training

  • Conduct quarterly training needs analysis and create training calendar. Ensure trainings are aligned with local business goals and developmental needs of sales teams.

  • Conducts training in classroom as well as through conference calls. Provide on-going consultation on selling skills

  • Engage with the Sales management, Business Unit management, Marketing and Global Sales Training to ensure the coordination, organization and deployment of the required trainings for the sales teams. Includes: Product trainings and Specialist trainings

  • Deployment and follow up of trainings programs: Quarterly Training, Sales University On Demand and Any acceleration programs

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to apply adult education principals and theory

  • Experience teaching, coaching, and/or facilitating in a professional environment with necessary technical knowledge and the real-world experience in the subject matter they are assigned to train

  • Willing to work NA working hours

  • Instructional and facilitation skills - Solution Selling skills with ability to design basic training modules, Facilitation skills & Presentation skills

  • Needs assessment/ Diagnostic skills, Consulting skills, Knowledge of advanced PC software and spreadsheet applications

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with 4-6 years relevant experience or Post Graduate degree with 2-4 years relevant sales experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Knowledge of Dell’s Products and Solutions Portfolio
