Job Title: Global Architect, Global Alliances SI Advisory Partners

Global Alliances is responsible for creating and maintaining business partnerships with the community of SIs, SOs and SPs, enabling access to clients and revenue opportunities that would be unavailable through an independent market approach by Dell EMC. As the Global Architect for Advisory SI Solutions, you will support these business partnerships by facilitating the development and maintenance of a joint offering portfolio between Dell EMC and one or more Advisory SIs partners (Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, EY). You will also act as the primary technology “evangelist” for Dell EMC within one or more of the Advisory SIs, and support Dell EMCs collaboration with them in pursuit of customer opportunities. We work closely with our Global Accounts Sales team to help meet revenue and specific customer requirements, while developing the customer’s understanding of Dell’s ground-breaking product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, in collaboration with Advisory SI resources, a joint portfolio of offerings with one or more partners

  • Develop and validate joint value propositions for elements of the offering portfolioFacilitate the development and maturation of joint offerings - from ideation, through business case development, and market engagement

  • Identify and rationalize key investments with the Advisory SI partners, including OPEX, technology seeding, and enablement

  • Manage an extended team – through influence - to support the development of the joint offering portfolio

  • Act as the primary technology evangelist to deliver the Dell EMC product value proposition to the partner

  • Act as the primary internal champion of one or more Advisory SI partners’ capabilities

  • Facilitate and participate in the execution of sales campaigns with the partner based on the joint offering portfolio

  • Act as a primary SME on one or more Advisory SI partners’ GTM and business models

  • Identify and independently develop relationships with key stakeholders and potential champions (C-level equivalent resources) within the Advisory SI partners

  • Lead specialized technical discussions to white board solutions for partner alignment

  • Coach and mentor Systems Engineering resources to develop Enterprise/Global Architect skills

Essential Requirements

+ + 10 years of experience in IT

+ + 5 years of experience in technology pre-sales or IT services delivery

+ + 5 years of experience working with SIs

  • Excellent understanding of the Advisory SIs’ industry and their business models

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Demonstrated ability to design solutions

  • Deep industry knowledge and context regarding: Cloud providers, Big Data/Analytics, DevOps, Converged and Hyper Converged Infrastructure

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
