Dell Dell Technologies Finance Development Program (FDP) for New University Graduates in Kawasaki, Japan
We are seeking new university graduates to join our Finance Development Program (FDP) which is an accelerated development program consisting of four different rotations over two years, case studies, mentoring programs, a structured appraisal/feedback process, special program incentives, and networking activities.
Assist management in performing various projects and tasks such as financial performance and impact analyses, financial reporting, and variance analyses comparing actuals with plans.
Conduct analyses of profit improvement initiatives for the business.
Review processes and propose recommendations for improvement.
Enable execution of strategic initiatives.
Serve as a Financial Analyst (FDP) in the function you support, often tasked with projects relevant to the business. The following is a list of functions available for FDP rotations in Japan:
CSB Finance & Operations: Dell Technologies Japan’s Consumer and Small business (employee size < 100) is an exciting place to acquire new customers for Dell Technologies. Within the Finance & Operations role, you will get a change to work on strategy to grow the business in the e-commerce space, which is very relevant considering COVID-19 has accelerated the consumer's need to work/learn/game from home. The role will involve working on a variety of projects and initiatives, lead business process like liquidity management or operational excellence, and assist senior financial leaders to run analytics, ensure quarter close compliance and drive weekly/monthly/quarterly goals for the business. You will also get the opportunity to work with and learn from various functions within Dell Technologies.
CSES Finance & Operations: Dell Japan’s Commercial and Enterprise Sales organization drives for profitable share gain in Dell’s 2nd largest addressable market. Responsibilities within GBO range from business partnership/controllership and run-the-business analytics to go-to-market strategy/operations and business transformation program management roles.
Dell Financial Services: Dell’s own financing arm, facilitating customer financing of products and services sold by Dell Technologies and through Channel partners. Roles in DFS include support for Sales/Marketing, Care Operations, Risk Services, and Business Controls.
Strong interest in Finance area
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4 or equivalent
Expect to graduate from university (both undergrad / masters) in April 2021 to March 2022
Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese (Bilingual)
Finance, accounting or business major students, currently pursuing a master-degree
Have analytical and problem-solving mindset
