Dell Japan CSB eBusiness Advisor Experience Operations in Kawasaki, Japan

The Japan CSB Experience Operations Advisor will be part of the Global CSB organisation as we work to modernise with an easy-to-navigate, customer-centric experience. The CSB organisation is designed to enable globally consistent online experiences and capabilities, exponential sales growth, fulfil globally consistent SLAs for operational and experiential updates and accelerate the focus and momentum to transform by maintaining parallel efforts to run and evolve the site.

The Global Experience Operations team are specifically responsible for:-

Content selection: imagery, banners, pathing Pathing: linking and masthead Campaign page builds Product launch: sustaining and new product launch Deals execution


  • Manage the Special Events deals experience on for Japan, including:-

  • Become JP Special Events expert, being the go-to person for Experience Ops and cross-functional teams

  • Work closely with Merchandising team to ensure brief is delivered on time & with required information

  • Prepare PID file including bundle codes, badges, line-up sequence, live and end dates, price etc.

  • Create new campaign each promotion cycle

  • Clean up merchandising at order code level

  • Manual refresh for all changes (slim and full de-norm)

  • Pre and post go live detailed content audit to ensure pages are 100% accurate and legally compliant

  • Provide ongoing feedback on enhancements required by IT for Special Events in Japan

  • Coupon vending Machine

  • Create and maintain partners in tool incl banners, FAQ, header logo, header client and thank you image

  • Create new coupon pools used to maintain list of coupons that are distributed to customers

  • Update coupon file in required format with coupon code and expiry date

  • Create validation file and file mapping

  • Link partners to coupon pools

  • merchandising and NPL back-up for Japan Experience Ops team:-

  • New Product Launch (regional review and input, create request ppt, communication with local and global teams, OC image creation, store module request, auditing and issue resolution)

  • On-site merchandising (banners, learn pages, coupons, taglines, auditing, issue resolution, EOL requests, content edits etc)


  • Excellent presentation and communication skills - ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, and across multiple stakeholder teams.

  • Demonstrate solid project management skills and ability to multitask/run multiple activities concurrently. Effectively handle multiple ad-hoc requests/projects.

  • eCommerce, Digital Marketing and/or Merchandising experience preferable

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Previous experience in using web analytics tools like Adobe SiteCatalyst

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills in a multi-cultural environment.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and multiple direction changes.

  • Strong team player and supporter

  • Fluent in Japanese & English

  • Optimistic but pragmatic attitude and like working in team/cross-functional settings.
