Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships in the field and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. A critical aspect of this role is to help customers achieve their business outcomes and imperatives through Digital, IT, Workface and Security transformation with an industry leading portfolio. This will include growing the account base to achieve & exceed financial goals

  • Ability to develop effective Account strategies to expand DellEMCs share of wallet

  • Understanding of customers business and helping to translate their challenges and imperatives into technology solutions

  • Gain share of wallet/spend in Client, Infrastructure and Security Solutions

  • Account development, including account planning and sales forecasting and engaging cross-functional resources

  • Regular and deep customer engagement with key personnel to understand the customer and develop the relationship

  • Lead sales process and leverage all available resources to manage accounts ie, Specialists & Partners

Essential Requirements

  • Extensive experience in an IT-related Account management selling role where you are recognised as a top performer

  • World-class customer management and strategic selling skills aimed at enhancing the success of our customers business and the growth of DellEMC

  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills and credibility in working to CXO level

  • Highly developed planning and organisation skills

  • Driven by achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and can demonstrate a track record in this area

  • Ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to generate ideas & solutions and manage a virtual team

  • Bachelors Degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent experience

Desirable Requirements

  • Channel/Partner development or management

  • Experience of leading virtual/remote teams

  • Experience of creating & leading marketing campaigns

  • Fluency with SFDC
