Our Sales Operations team is at the heart of developing sales processes and procedures for administering, fulfilling and communicating both online and offline orders. A bridge between sales and other operational functions, we use our peerless expertise to evaluate and implement improvements to sales programs and processes – from planning and prioritization to pricing and margin strategies, sales automation, reporting and more. Put simply, we make sure the process of getting our ground-breaking products and services to customers as simple and seamless as possible.
The role requires the individual to manage the Asset Management Services (AMS) program for Dell EMC’s EMEA territory with the goal of being a trusted advisor to the business and customers in order to develop accurate asset baselines and leverages that information to drive optimal commercial outcomes. The role will require managing virtual international teams and be responsible for supporting portfolio of deals from inception to close. This sale focused individual should have well-rounded business experience; executive communication, presentation, objection handling, and negotiation skills, along with strong commitment to customer satisfaction. It customers Install bases crucial the candidate knows all aspects of software license and IT asset management and use this knowledge to build on Dell EMC’s customers Install base.
Works alongside sales, finance, and other functional groups to identify and prioritize accounts as candidates for AMS projects, discuss and develop strategy and tactics to support sales objectives, and ensure alignment of AMS resources to drive revenue for Dell EMC.
Works with account teams and educate them on the benefits of Asset management duties, which relate to Software license compliance, Hardware & Software maintenance True-up and establishing customer’s factual asset deployment position. This drives insight into customer’s EMC and non-EMC install base, which in-turn enable sales teams to drive commercial discussions with the customers with a view to grow Dell EMC’s install and drive competitive displacement.
Provide support in sales pursuits and post deal contract management
Leverages appropriate AMS offerings and expertise to address customer needs in an effort to become their trusted advisor. Demonstrate the need for IT Asset management to the customers in order to establish their accurate Total Cost of Asset Ownership and drive insight into their future procurement optimization.
Responsible for ensuring efficient and effective use of AMS resources
Manage, coach and mentor all levels of staff: conduct performance reviews, contribute to performance feedback and training, develop and communicate workplace culture and code of conduct
Assist in development and implementation of operational policies supporting Transformational License Agreement (TLA) Program
Develop, implement and optimize processes for the Asset Management group in alignment with global team.
10+ years in Professional Services or large IT organizations
Strong experience in software licensing, contracts, software metering, and methods to audit hardware and software deployment/usage
Strong leadership skills with a passion to develop and mentor staff
Proven ability to influence and drive engagement with senior management, stakeholders and customers
Strong organizational and project management capabilities
Up to 25% domestic and international travel required
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
