We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, innovative, and results-driven performance marketing expert to take on the role of Display Strategist – a role that will be key to shaping our offerings, influencing our stakeholders’ perceptions and behaviours and driving profitable growth.

What you'll achieve

As the Display Strategist you will develop and drive innovative strategies that are aligned to the Client Solutions priority of increasing share growth profitably.

Working as part of the Central Client Solutions team with strong links to regional merchandising and Client solution sales teams you will thrive in the value added, insight-based and customer focused environment.

This is a high impact role with high visibility that requires a highly-motivated candidate with strong communication and analytical skills, a balanced curiosity of market trends and technology evolution along with a strong business acumen for making sound product and business case recommendations.

You will:

  • Serve as an EMEA category manager for Displays working into various functional teams both centrally (PLM, Brand, GTM, Finance) and locally (Sales, Marketing, Brand) and collaborating with Sales, Supply/Demand Planning and Merchandising to execute and monitor sell-to-plan on a dynamic basis in QTR, given accurate sales pipeline planning.

  • Develop GTM strategies including big bets and in cycle tactics taking into account consideration of Dell context, competition dynamics, segment/customer insights, market trending and develop comprehensive product transition and marketing plan supporting the GTM strategies; drive consensus toward management of in-country full-integrated plan – Sell to Plan. As well as work with US & APJ to jointly develop/leverage key disruptive product initiatives

  • Drive product selection and product positioning strategy for market segments, including focus products as well as development of new products based on market needs, competition dynamics, pricing trends, segment/customer insights

  • Run competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for growth and report on performance, analyze gaps and improvement areas and drive corrective actions to enable the successful weekly/quarterly delivery of the sales plan.

  • Define mix level demand tied to marketing plan (volume and product) supporting GTM (red flags and corrective actions)

Essential Requirements

  • 10 years+ experience in sales or marketing- technology and business acumen, understanding of the PC industry, including key technologies, major competitors, product and industry trends, markets and typical marketing practices, product positioning and other related product and marketing experience.

  • Financial acumen & understanding of product/brand P&L's essential

  • Product management and merchandising skills required

  • Strategic and organizational agility. Strong ability to build / lead strategy, motivate and achieve results through others

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills- ability to make data driven decisions, track record of driving simplicity in a complex operating environment. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills necessary

Desirable Requirements

  • Background in the IT industry

  • Additional European language will be considered a plus
