Senior Solutions Architect
Our field sales professionals rely on proactive technical support during the sales process – and our expert Solutions Architecting team always steps up to the mark. We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installation or system integration plans, we ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow Dell Technologies' business throughout which you will be accountable for building new relationships and inspiring customers to do things differently. Your primary responsibility will be strategic and transactional development of named accounts however you will also have the opportunity to develop and drive strategic engagements with customers across the designated customer base.
What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will provide pre-sales technical support to our field sales teams, helping to define the overall Dell Technologies solution for our customers using the full range of company products and services.
Build and lead relationships for highly sophisticated customer accounts and verify operability of sophisticated product and service configurations within the customer’s environment
Work with Sales Teams to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies, produce account specific solution, service and technical sales plans (typically in complex enterprise and highly critical accounts)
Conduct customer needs analysis, anticipate requirements beyond existing solution’s scope, drive strategy and implementation of technical sales for products (typically Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Enterprise Storage, Software and Cloud solutions) and services within area of responsibility
Prepare detailed product specifications to enable the sale of our products and solutions, and deliver impact presentations at customer facilities
Develop and document DELL Technologies solutions to meet customer objectives. Complete required presales documentation quickly and accurately
Lead the development of responses to highly critical, large scale customer requests and proposals. Anticipates technology and/or market trends and provides guidance to the customer

Excellent presentation and engagement skills in front of and with all levels of the IT Organization and C-Level audience across complex environments
Self-motivated, proactive and understands the importance of urgency yet also have the commitment and engagement to get close to the customer over the long term .
Excellent industry knowledge enabling you to connect with the customer as a Trusted Advisor
Deep knowledge of data center and cloud technology
Good understanding of Dell Technologies' competitors in the area of data center technology and cloud solutions
Advanced experience in a relationship selling role
Knowledge or certification in ITIL, TOGAF, or similar qualification desired.
