We lead the development and implementation of complex and specialized products, applications, services and solutions. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installations or system integration plans, we ensure customers get the innovative, relevant, interoperable solutions they need.

The Pre Sales System Engineering Manager:

  • Expected to conduct regular 1:1s as well as team meetings and supports the team members in their Individual Development Plans (IDP).

  • Determines and optimizes account coverage needs based on business priorities and growth plans.

  • Fosters a sharing and collaborative environment in the team. Encourages the team to drive the vision and a customer-first approach building solutions across the Dell Technologies portfolio.

  • Establishes operational objectives for the team and sets focus and direction for systems engineers aligned to industry vertical or business.

  • Working closely with Sales leader, he/she drives focus with cross-business and cross-functional resources and drives business process improvement efforts.

  • Customer-facing, leads by example. He/she collaborates with other functions to resolve escalations/customer issues quickly and also consults with customer’s technical management.

Essential Requirements

  • Extensive relevant experience in related field.

  • Excellent ability to apply advanced concepts in the technical engineering field to practical business problems and strong understanding of the solution selling process

  • Advanced ability to communicate technical concepts, architectures and designs, program strategies, and tactics clearly.

  • Advanced level of solutions and technical knowledge and strong understanding of customer/industry climate.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing

  • Focus on people and talent

Desirable Requirements

  • Relevant leadership experience.

  • Proven track record in Technical Pre sales and people management.

  • Experience from driving forecast, reporting, outlook meetings etc.

  • Advanced presentation skills and the ability to establish mutually beneficial program commitments and expectations with customers.
