Environmental Health & Safety Responsible

From flu season to emergency response, our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team develops and monitors company-wide environmental health and safety programs and situations. We train employees in safety compliance and recommend and implement corrective actions in case of hazards.

What you’ll achieve

Wellbeing at work is a broad topic which includes topics such as work safety, hygiene, ergonomics, environment and psychosocial health. You will be responsible for development, implementation and monitoring of company occupational health and safety (H&S) programs and plans to ensure compliance with regulations from any regulating authority. You will work with Global EHS team, HR, Facilities and local Senior Management team on providing guidance and consultation in H&S topics and to promote awareness of H&S culture and programs through communication and collaborative team interaction.

You will:

  • Routinely inspect work area to detect existing or potential environmental, safety and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented

  • Investigate or ensures adequate investigation of all incidents and facilitates corrective action to prevent future occurrence

  • Develop, review, and update EHS procedures, records, routine reports and other management systems documents

  • Supervise the organization of first aid and emergency care.

  • Communicate safety requirements to the organization in an effective way and creates safety awareness

Essential Requirements

  • Recognized formal Health and Safety Qualifications in Spain (titulación Prevención Riesgos Laborales Superior - 600 horas).

  • Native Spanish; Very good English language skills.

  • Strong ability to conduct training, inspections and risk assessments for environmental, health and safety hazards

  • Very good communication & interpersonal skills with “can do” attitude

Desirable Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the area of Health & Safety

  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage change

  • Ability to effectively work with all levels of management and to clearly present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, peers, and customers
