What you'll achieve
As Data Privacy Steward , you will be part of the Dell Privacy Center of Excellence team. You will impact people, processes, and technology. You will lead the data privacy transformation in the customer organization by managing, stewarding, facilitating and implementing the data privacy governance framework.
Develop knowledge and expertise on Dell’s customer data ecosystem; leverage that knowledge to support privacy compliant data usage
Create, identify and maintain privacy related attributes, personal data classifications by stewarding and implementing the data privacy governance framework
Improve adherence to data privacy regulations globally, ensure data quality, accessibility of data, ownership, implementation of data policies and documentation of data (lineage and architecture)
Define data inventory business workflows to ensure personal data governance and data taxonomy
Collaborate with cross functional teams to apply privacy by design principles aligning on shared data governance objectives.
Translate business needs and priorities to technical data mapping and lineage requirements

IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT)
Experience with data governance tools (i.e.: Informatica DQ, Informatica Axon, Collibra, OneTrust etc)
Problem solving skills: ability to analyze and identify issues, business impact, draw conclusions and prioritize
Process / Procedural Mapping Experience / Process Re-Engineering
8+ years of privacy program and data protection experience in a professional role with a bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD
A strong reputation for integrity and ethics
A passion for user privacy and technology
