ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Processes security clearances for Dell team members in need of access to restricted areas or classified information.

  • Arranges visit authorizations for team members and others in need of access to restricted areas.

  • Verifies proper level of access to be granted to individuals, and contracts other companies or government agencies to follow up clearance or visit authorization requests.

  • Conducts security education briefings and classes. Establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping sensitive records, and for granting personnel and visitor access to restricted records and materials as needed.

  • Knowledgeable in all facets of Government Security Requirements.

  • Responsible for implementing government security standards in the construction of a facility to maintain classified material if required.

  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain appropriate government security clearance

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for pre- and post-trip preparations and de-briefings.

  • May take on team leader responsibility for program- wide projects.

  • Works independently with little or no direct supervision.

  • Scheduling and staffing rosters, for example, for specific events and meetings.

  • Provides guidance to contracted subordinates within the latitude of established policies

  • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).

  • Defines and implements standard policies and procedures for security team

  • Partners with executives in the defining and implementation of appropriate security standards and processes.
