What you’ll achieve
As a Business Resiliency & Cyber Recovery Advisory Consultant, you will provide consultative and technical delivery leadership on a wide range of complex client facing consulting engagements which will enable our customers to protect and maintain the availability of their most critical business processes, applications, and digital assets.
As a technical leader on the service delivery team, you will earn your clients trust through competence, expertise and partnership guiding them through advisory, planning, design and execution of high impact strategic business resiliency and cyber recovery initiatives.
This position requires a dynamic individual with great customer facing skills to develop and articulate a broad range of business resiliency strategies and solutions to meet the customer’s strategic business and IT transformation goals.

Endeavor to become a trusted advisor to our customers and internal stakeholders through technical / business acumen, deep partnership, and outstanding results
Leverage your in-depth technical knowledge to assist our customers in execution of their most critical business resiliency initiatives
Lead enterprise wide client facing resiliency projects and programs as the lead technical SME in partnership with our project and program management organization
Provide technical delivery expertise and leadership to the services presales process helping our presales/sales organizations scope and sell complex resiliency projects and programs
Partner with service product management teams to enhance and develop business resiliency delivery collateral and toolkits
Work in alignment with other consulting team members to determine the best solution options to solve our customer’s challenges

12 to 15 years of related experience with 10+ years of progressive professional growth in a client facing services delivery role
Ability to influence and interact with confidence and credibility at all levels within the Dell Technologies companies and with our customers, partners, and vendors
Proven experience independently leading client facing delivery activities from presentations, workshops, and interviews to full scale enterprise wide technology services delivery
Ability to articulate complex concepts, build consensus and deliver high quality work products
Experience supporting services presales (scoping, estimating, and proposal development) initiatives in a high matrixed organization
Adept at leading the design and implementation of highly complex systems with a focus on application availability, disaster recovery, backup/recovery, and cyber resiliency
Solid understanding of:
Enterprise architecture, infrastructure (network, storage, compute) as well as backup and replication technologies
Legacy (including Mainframe) & modern application and database architectures with focus on availability and recovery concepts
Experience with leading projects within a defined methodology while adhering to margin, planning and SOW requirements
Desire and ability to travel domestically 50% or more (post pandemic)
Bachelor’s degree from and accredited institution (Management, Computer Science/Technical); Master’s degree from and accredited institution (Management, Computer Science/Technical) is a plus
Big 4 or equivalent management consulting experience
Technical and Industry Certifications (CBCP, MBCP, CISSP, TOGAF, VMware VCP, CCNA, Microsoft, Dell/EMC or similar)
Business Resiliency and/or IT Transformation industry experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Technology and/or Telecom
Deep Expertise in three or more of the following areas:
Assessing, developing, and implementing IT continuity strategies and programs, from business impact analysis (BIA) to implementation, testing and hand over to operations.
Designing and deploying highly resilient application hosting architectures both on prem and across a multi-cloud ecosystem (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure).
Planning, managing, and exercising large scale application, platform, and infrastructure disaster recovery tests and exercises
Automating application recovery and failover/failback; CI/CD Pipelines and IaC concepts; Familiarity Agile delivery methodologies.
Leading large-scale disaster recovery and/or application availability transformation initiatives
Architecting and implementing isolated (air-gapped) cyber recovery solutions (recovery from a destructive/catastrophic cyber-attack)
Backup / recovery architecture and design (DataDomain, Avamar, Networker, Isilon, TSM/Spectrum, Netbackup, Commvault, Veeam, and similar)
Data / storage replication architecture and design (VMware, PMAX/SRDF, Isilon/SyncIQ, RecoverPoint, Zerto, NetApp and similar)
Database availability and replication architecture and design (Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, Golden Gate, SQL Replication, SQL Always On and similar)
Mainframe resiliency architectures including IBM GDPS and/or EMC GDDR
Enterprise open systems, mainframe, and/or cloud systems architecture and design
Business Continuity Management and Planning, Enterprise Continuity of Operations, Incident Management BCM Frameworks such as ISO22301, industry standards including ISO/IEC 24762:2008, NFPA 1600
