Dell Advisor, Mexico Retail Channel Marketing in Mexico City, Mexico

Role Overview:

Markets the organization’s products/services through indirect retail channel. Develops and executes go-to-market tactics, including promotional campaigns, for Mexico retailers aligned with business goals. Monitors, reports and drives actions to meet sell-out unit goals. Activities includes quarterly planning, execution, sell-out analysis, budget management and maximization of vendor funds. Maintains strong relationship with Mexico Retail sales teams, product teams (e.g. merchandizing), and others, to be aligned on strategy and business priorities; approaching the Retailers as one Dell EMC voice.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sell-out performance at each Retailers, executing activities to maximize Sell-Out performance (Promoters, POP Material, In-store Activations, Trainings, etc)

  • Successfully manage budget reporting spend for the activities

  • Management of retail promoters: set KPIs for agencies, weekly report to sales teams, and plan with agencies trainings, incentives and others

  • Briefs agencies on creative/execution requirements and ensure timescales are met and brand guidelines are followed.

  • Ensure seamless execution of the marketing plan by working with agencies and / or retailers and taking improvement actions when needed to improve results.

  • Ensures that vendor funding guidelines are meet and submits all necessary requirements to comply with those guidelines

  • Works with procurement as appropriate for engaging vendors required for development and execution of marketing/Marcom programs

Skills:

  • Knowledge of cross-channel marketing techniques (digital, offline) in order to propose strong mix of go-to-market plan

  • Understanding of the key drivers for retailers

  • Solid organization skills

  • Ability to manage and adhere to deadlines

  • Able to analyze program performance and put actions in place to improve

  • Collaborates well with others

  • Strong presentation skills, plus clear, consistent communications

  • Ability to work across boundaries

  • Adapts well to change

  • Able to work in ambiguous environment

Requirements: Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree

Preferences:

  • Fluency in English is a must

  • Previous experience working with retailers or channel partners

  • Related experience in IT industry
