Dell Demand Supply Sr. Advisor in Mexico City, Mexico

Responsibilities:

  • Understands product demand requirements for assigned products to ensure appropriate level of supply.

  • Govern demand consumption rates and provide early warning and mitigation options to supply issues while setting appropriate customer lead-times.

  • Collaboration across Procurement, Global Ops, Sales Ops and Regional Demand/Supply teams to build a supportable plan.

  • Oversight on product life cycle to recommend actions driven by product transitions, left to sell/build (LTS/LTB) and end of life (E&O) processes

  • Work supply imbalances, both excesses and shortages, with the supply chain and marketing/sales teams to correct as quickly and cost effectively as possible

  • Work with Functional senior leadership to proactively identify network optimization opportunities in businesses

  • Identify and remove roadblocks to fulfill customer demand per Service Level Agreements

  • Lead the design, deployment and improvement of Sales and Operations Planning and inventory management best practice processes

  • Create new processes to drive continuous improvements in supply chain execution and reduce inefficiencies

  • Analyze large sets of data and extract useful intelligence to influence customer decision and drive cross functional alignment, runs what-if analysis as needed to recommend best course of actions.

  • Manage and report on key performance metrics and scaling of operational execution

  • Coordinate cross functional team members with S&OP content including communication of risk, attainment, liability and supportability

  • Lead management of assigned projects including simplification of current processes, innovation for improvement and KPI achievement

Qualifications

  • Bachelors (Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering preferred)

  • 7+ years of related professional experience in supply management or manufacturing of personal computers, consumer electronics, electronic components, original design manufacturers (ODM) or enterprise IT products

  • Demonstrated ability to influence executives and other teams

  • Broad end to end understanding of supply chain principles with expertise in network design and optimization

  • Functional understanding of Llamasoft or other network optimization tools

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and database analysis tools, specifically MS Excel

  • Creation of executive presentations on performance, solutions and innovations

  • Excellent verbal communication skills to lead global collaboration teleconferences and team meetings

  • Business Proficiency in Spanish and English
