Dell’s Security and Resiliency Office (SRO) is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Security Awareness & Training Advisor within the Communication, Awareness & Training team. This role will coordinate security awareness and training initiatives intended to influence employee and contingent workers to adopt secure behavior. Fundamentally, this role is focused on reducing risk to Dell by ensuring all team members with access to Dell’s facilities and information resources understand and adhere to our security policies and standards, behave in a secure and responsible manner, and take shared responsibility for a secure workplace.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in execution of SRO awareness and training strategy
Contribute to an awareness and training program that engages Dell team members and provides them with the knowledge they need to help protect Dell and themselves against security threats at work and at home
Assist with planning and implementation of simulated phishing exercises
Learn Wombat Security Awareness and Training platform and how to implement and manage education and training programs
Ensure that our security awareness program materials communicate and reinforce our security policies and standards so that our team members understand and can adhere to them.
Develop and post compelling Inside Dell (our social corporate intranet) Security Awareness and Training site content such as blogs, electronic banners, infographics, and videos as assigned
Assist in the coordination of training and awareness program activities with other Dell functions, working collaboratively with colleagues across the organization
Assist with the annual review and update of compliance training materials in collaboration with Dell’s Ethics & Compliance team
Assist Dell Business Unit (BU) and Strategically Aligned Business (SAB) liaisons in addressing their specific compliance and/or job role security training requirements by identifying and making available training and awareness courses and materials
Education and Experience Requirements:
4 year degree, preferably in Communications, Education or IT/Computer Science-related areas
4+ years experience in Communications and/or Training, preferably in a technical field
Experience in the information security industry a plus
Experience implementing phishing attack simulation campaigns/experience using vendor-supplied phishing application a plus
Experience with educational training projects/products a plus
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Excellent writing and communication skills
Strong client relationship skills
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
Project management skills
Proficiency with MS Office suite
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
Proficiency in Web design, HTML
